QuestX powers Stemnovation — a project-based STEM program that teaches the fundamentals of robotics engineering, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, then launches student teams into global XPRIZE competitions.
Stemnovation is modeled after a 12-year integrated STEM and entrepreneurship curriculum that made one school the only high school in the world to compete in global XPRIZE competitions seven times. Through hands-on, experiential learning, students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills they apply to real-world challenges — not memorized for a test.
Apply physics and computational thinking to build, code, and optimize functional autonomous machines.
Design and deploy production-grade AI architectures and automated, agent-driven workflows.
Understand the digital threat landscape and apply real technical countermeasures and ethics.
Every graduate has the opportunity to join or form an XPRIZE team with industry mentors to solve global challenges. Here is our track record of competing on the world stage.
Documentary TrailerXPRIZE Team Ocean Quest — the story behind our $800,000 NOAA Bonus Prize win in the Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE.
Advancing autonomous, high-resolution mapping and exploration of the deep ocean — our team won the NOAA bonus prize for detecting a signal and tracing it to its source.
🏆 $800,000 WinnerBuilding systems to autonomously detect and suppress wildfires within minutes, protecting communities and ecosystems from catastrophic fire.
Top 5 FinalistDeveloping therapies to restore muscle, cognitive, and immune function — extending the healthy, active years of human life. Active team competing with industry mentors.
Top 40 · In competitionEngineering avatar systems that transport a human's senses, actions, and presence to a remote location in real time.
Semi-FinalistDesigning scalable solutions to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and oceans — working toward gigaton-scale climate impact.
Top 100Using novel technologies to rapidly survey rainforest biodiversity and unlock the value of standing forests.
QualifiedTackling global water scarcity with technologies that make clean, affordable water accessible to communities in need.
QualifiedOur "XPRIZE with AI" class forms a real team building an offline, Ollama-powered literacy & numeracy tutor for the Last Mile — registering the day enrollment opens.
LaunchingA 30-week hands-on practicum trains the fundamentals; the XPRIZE class turns those skills loose on a real global competition.
One robot, three engineering tracks. Every student builds the same micro:bit-based AiBot — chassis, motors, AiCam vision, web control — then specializes. Showcase-driven pacing means every module ends in a public demo, culminating in an all-track family finale.
A year-long, project-based course where students form a real XPRIZE team. They own real roles — engineering, learning science, field research, operations, storytelling — and build a localized, offline AI tutor for early literacy and numeracy. Every semester ends in a working demo, not a report.
A two-semester, modular program for ages 13+ — no prerequisites. Delivered as a full-day class or an after-school co-curricular activity, and tailored to each school's calendar.
Turn-key from QuestX: curriculum, mentor network, hardware guidance, and program management included. Sponsor a class, host a pilot, or mentor a team.
